The Pirate: Republic of Nassau – Full Release Now Available

When we released The Pirate: Republic of Nassau into Early Access in July 2025, we had a clear roadmap leading toward version 1.0. Along the way, thanks to your feedback and suggestions, the game grew beyond our original plans with new mechanics and content we hadn’t initially anticipated. We want to sincerely thank you for every review, message, and discussion on Discord.

Today’s update adds the remaining sea shanties and delivers a wide range of bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and polish to areas that previously felt a bit rough around the edges. We believe this is the right moment to conclude the Early Access phase and let the game sail into version 1.0.

This does not mean the end of support. We will continue to monitor your feedback and, whenever possible, implement improvements and adjustments. Version 1.0 introduces the following updates:

  • 4 new sea shanties.
  • Improvements UX, combat, and diving.
  • Visual enhancements, including more realistic distant vegetation.
  • Improved character animations.
  • Better balance for sword-combat encounters.
  • Prison break missions can now be entered both from the ship’s deck (menu) and directly from the world (through a breached window).
  • User interface improvements.
  • Overall performance optimizations.
