The Pirate: Plague of the Dead – pirate dark fantasy

The Pirate: Plague of the Dead is a sandbox game set in a fully open world, letting you see what it’s like to be the fiercest pirate captain to ever hoist a sail. Game is set in a grim pirate world where real historical figures encounter adventures full of supernatural evensts and beast. Here is a brief introduction to Plague of the Dead story.

In the beginning of the 18th century the Caribbean became a pirate domain under the unofficial rule of a voodoo king called Kalfu. The most fearsome pirates of all time, among them Blackbeard, Charles Vane, and Jack Rackham, formed the Flying Gang and wrought havoc on the seas.

Spain, having grown stronger under Philip V’s reign, could no longer ignore this. The king ordered the Great Inquisitor to bring piracy to an end at all cost. In 1718 the Inquisitor’s fleet attacked Nassau and other territories dominated by pirates. They stood no chance, because the Spaniard... resorted to dark magic.

It is the year 1719. Jack Rackham, survivor of the carnage, embarks on a mission to find Kalfu, who could help the pirates gain a much needed advantage. Soon the Flying Gang will be changed forever, just as the whole Caribbean…
